Our minister, The Reverend Ms. Harris Riordan (shown with her daughter, Margaret) accepted our invitation to be Minister of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Boca Raton in 1997. Harris earned her BA at the State University of New York, and her Masters of Divinity at Union Theological Seminary in New York.
Harris grew up in The First Unitarian Church of Brooklyn. She was ordained by All Souls Unitarian Church in New York City in 1982. She has served as The Religious Education Director and Associate Minister of the Community Unitarian Church in White Plains, New York and Associate Minister of the First Unitarian Church in Brooklyn. Later she was the Interim minister of the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Restoration in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Interim Associate Minister at All Souls Unitarian Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Vada Mossavat, is in her second year as The Director of Religious Education here at UUFBR. She is a graduate of St. John's College in Annapolis, MD. Stephanie Monsour-Nixdorf has been The Music Director here at UUFBR since 2007. Originally from South Glens Falls, N.Y., Ms. Nixdorf relocated to Florida in 2005 with her husband and two children. She holds degrees in vocal performance from Syracuse University and CCM at the University of Cincinnati. Currently she is pursuing her Ph.D. in Comparative Studies in the Arts at FAU. Recently, after two years of teaching at Florida Atlantic University, Stephanie took the position of Choral Director at Suncoast Community High School in Riviera Beach.
Her musical life at UUFBR includes an Adult Choir which meets on Thursdays for rehearsals and sings Sunday services twice a month. Additionally, the UUFBR Children’s Choir sings on Christmas Eve, Easter Sunday, and one other service during the year. This year we will be offering “Morning Songs” which will strive to involve our fellowship in more Congregational singing. During summers, Stephanie can be found enjoying life in Upstate New York, and working at Cortland Repertory Theatre.

Gloria Chiodo became Administrator of UUFBR in 1999, retired once and (to our great delight) is back at her desk, keeping us all together. She recruits and collaborates with the office volunteers, supports all the leaders and is a resource for congregants.
Working with the Treasurer, she keeps the books. Working with Tony's Team, she manages the building, keeps our Sharex partners happy, and schedules all events! She edits the Unicorn, and Chalice Notes, and is one of the folks who keeps our website up to date.
Gloria has lived in Boca for 37 years. She and her husband David have two daughters and two grandchildren.
Have a question? Call Gloria. If she already doesn't know the answer, she'll know who does. Office Hours Monday through Thursday 9 am to 4 pm.

Intern Minister, Amy Carol Webb began work with the Fellowship in 2008, first as a Field Education student and now completing her second year of Internship. Amy earned her Masters in Divinity from Boston’s Andover Newton Theological School in May 2010.
Amy came into ministry through her music, having served as a guest lay-minister and musician for diverse Unitarian Universalist gatherings from her home church, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Miami to historic congregations in Boston, newly planted churches in rural Florida and roof-raising UU assemblies countrywide, including our International Unitarian Universalist General Assembly since 2008. Amy has served four years on the Board of Trustees of the Southeast Unitarian Universalist Summer Institute in Virginia, where she has facilitated workshops with adults and teens each Summer for twelve years running.
She lives in Miami Springs with her spouse, Brooke. Sons Alexander and Graham are both college students in Miami. For Amy it is a great and growing privilege to continue to serve UUFBR, deeply grateful for this long and fruitful relationship in Fellowship’s steadfast commitment to growing new UU ministers.
