The Ugly Duckling In song and dance
On Sunday March 21 at 3:00 pm in the Sanctuary of UUFBR see "The Ugly Duckling," a new musical production created by local musician Jackie Maye. This is a modern version of the familiar fairy tale that brings a message for our times. This family event is sponsored by the Palm Beach County Chapter of The Network of Spiritual Progressives (NSP), a national interfaith organization that seeks to help create a better world. Bring family and friends who are young at heart as well as young in age! Refreshments will be provided.

This workshop is designed for UU congregations to examine cultural competencies and gain tools and resources for effectively engaging in racial justice ministry. This hands-on event will leave your congregation equipped to take the next step in your racial justice ministry with the support of other congregations also committed to leading the way in "builidng the world we dream about."
$50 for up to 3 people per congregation, =$10 for each additional person.

For the 5th concert in our Sylvia Parker Memorial Concert Series, we are proud to present Brazilian Pianist, Pablo Rossi. The first-prize winner of major national competitions in Brazil, he also won the International Piano Copetition in Cordoba, Argentina (2001) and the Perfecto Garcia Chomet International Piano Competion in Valencia, Spain (2002). He has collaborated with distinguished orchestras and conductors, such as the Sao Paulo State Symphony Orchestra under Roberto Minczuck, the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra under Anton Nanut, the Symphony Orchestras of Parana, Santa Catarina and Salvador, and the Soloist Chamber Orchestra of Londrina and Antique Camerate of Parana. Ever since his first concert for "The Keyboard Trust" in London, he has given recitals in US, Italy, Germany, and Spain.
The evening will include selections by Schubert, Beethoven, Debussy, and Prokofiev.
