The Writers’ Circle meets every Wednesday from 12:30 pm to 3:15 pm in the Living Room at UUFBR. The Writers’ Circle’s main purpose is to provide feedback, encouragement and support for the writing process. Members include poets, non-fiction writers, short-story writers, novelists and writers in other genres.

Founded in 2012, the Writers’ Circle is not an official program of UUFBR. However, since the Fellowship graciously provides space for it to meet, many of the group’s dynamic and dedicated members are UUFBR members. In addition, the group is guided by the First Principle of Unitarian Universalism, respect for the inherent worth and dignity of each person.

The group is intentionally kept small in size to allow sufficient time for discussion and to maintain a personal atmosphere of trust. If group size exceeds an optimal number, membership would close, and the facilitator would place interested people on a waiting list.
