The Climate Action Coalition of South Florida is a loose coalition of organizations, working to support the Southeast Florida Regional Climate Action Plan and the President’s Climate Action Plan.

Organizations represented at the June meeting included: Audubon Everglades, League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County, Loxahatchee Sierra Club, STAR (Save the Agricultural Reserve), Arthur R. Marshall Foundation, The Diversity Committee of the Democrats of PBC, The Climate Change Working Group of UUFBR, and Organizing for Action of Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast, and The MoveOn Council of South Palm Beach and Morth Broward Counties.

The Coalition is working to convince municipalities to sign the Mayor’s Pledge in support of the Southeast Florida Regional Action Plan, and to determine what Palm Beach County’s priorities are in implementing the plan’s recommendations.
