W.F.B.R. (Double-U.F.B.R.) goes live on Sunday, July 5th with a one-of-a-kind, community-powered musical service built entirely around YOUR favorite songs from the Great American Songbook!
📻 Think of it as a UU JUUKEBOX: you pick the songs, make a donation, and our musicians bring them to life. But there’s a catch… we only have room for 🎵 TEN SONGS 🎵 during the service!
🎹 Featured categories include:
🗽 American Patriotic Songs
🎻 American Folk Songs
📚 Schoolhouse Rock!
💰 How it works:
• Choose a song from the auction list at GiveButter.com/JUUKEBOX https://givebutter.com/juukebox
• Make a donation like you’re dropping coins into a jukebox
• “Buy It Now” bids guarantee a performance
• Remaining spots go to the highest bids
• The Top 10 songs make the final playlist
🎸🎺🪕 Musicians, bring your instruments and play along! Singers of every skill level are welcome to join the choir and congregation. Whether you’re with us in person or on Zoom, come raise your voice and celebrate the music that shaped
America.
📢 All proceeds benefit P.E.A.C.E. (People Engaged in Active Community Efforts), a Palm Beach County justice ministry working on issues like affordable housing and mental health through grassroots community action.
Of Thee I Sing… and we’ll be listening! 🎶

UUFBR Circle Supper Group

Rona Solomon is the organizer of the UUFBR Circle Supper Groups. People contact her if they want to
participate. Every month she sends an invite to the list of registrants and asks who will be attending that
month and who will be hosts. The hosts decide how many people can be accommodated. It can be 4, 6, 8,
or larger. Rona assigns people to each host ensuring that everyone gets to meet everyone throughout the
year. The host contacts the attendees with details for the event. Usually, the host provides the main dish
and may suggest that a guest bring an appetizer, salad, vegetable, or dessert. Perhaps the host will
suggest a theme, like Chinese, Mexican, Italian. Each individual brings something to share.
In June, Rona and John will host a pool party at their home.
Since Rona and John go away for the summer and they have so many other volunteer activities, Linda Prior said
that she would be willing to organize the UUFBR Circle Dinners beginning July. Let me know if you would
like to be part of the social supper group, if you would be willing to host 2 or 3 times a year, and how
many guests you can accommodate. It is a fun way feel part of a community and enjoy good food.

Call the UUFBR admin for Linda’s contact info.
