Memorial Garden Plaques

Memorial Garden wall with bronze plaques on granite slabs

The Memorial Garden on the east side of UUFBR is a serene and sacred space dedicated to honoring the lives of our cherished members and friends. Nestled beside the church, this beautifully landscaped garden serves as place of reflection and remembrance. Constructed in 1992, it is maintained with loving care from volunteers as part of garden plan which includes the Sanctuary Garden, Memorial Garden, a connecting path, and the Peace Pole Garden.

Enter the garden from the gate on the south side, and a winding path invites visitors to explore the lush greenery of trees, shrubs, and vibrant flowers, leading to five granite slabs on the garden wall. Engraved bronze plaques bear the names of those who have been a part of this tight-knit community. Peaceful seating areas are strategically placed throughout the garden, offering a tranquil setting for contemplation and connection. Or walk the nearby intricately designed labyrinth to seek solace and let your spirit find peace.

We would be honored to be entrusted with the memorial service for your loved one. Arrangements for memorial services are made through the church office.  We would likewise be honored to see his or her name placed on the memorial garden wall amidst the names of all the others who have been so important to our religious community.
