Aristotle’s Bistro
Facilitated by Tony LaDuca
Where Great Minds Meet Great Questions
What would you do if a close friend acted immorally? Should we separate an artist’s work from their personal failings? Was dropping the atomic bomb justified? These aren’t easy questions — and that’s exactly the point.Aristotle’s Bistro is a lively, facilitated discussion program where you set the agenda. Each session, participants propose the big questions that matter to them — questions about ethics, values, and the human condition — and together, the group votes on where the conversation goes.
No lectures. No right answers. No partisan politics.
Just curious, engaged people wrestling honestly with the questions that define how we live.
How It Works
Participants bring the questions. The group chooses one. And then the real conversation begins — open, respectful, and driven by your voices, not an expert at a podium.
A skilled facilitator keeps the discussion inclusive and on track, making sure every voice is heard and every perspective gets its moment.

Inspired by the tradition of Socratic dialogue, Aristotle’s Bistro carries on philosophy’s oldest belief: that the examined life is worth living — and a lot more interesting with good company.
