Back to school can be a joyous and fun time, it can also be filled with anxiety and stress. When the state becomes involved in choosing who belongs, marginalized students experience a higher rate of suffering. Drawing on her own experience with bullying Rev. Nicole explores the intersection of book bans and bullying, and how we as Unitarian Universalists are called to ease this suffering.
