Stories With Soul

Book club has been dissolved (perhaps temporarily) and a short story group has been created like the one she did for All Souls NYC.

Briefly, there is a reader and an audience, who perhaps have never read the story. The group will meet in the Parker Room one to two Thursday evenings a month at 7:00 p.m. to enjoy a “Story with Soul”. You do not have to have read the story to enjoy it. A reader will read for about 20 minutes and then the group will discuss the short story. The group will meet for about an hour or so. There is no obligation on the part of the listener. It’s like a bedtime story for UU adults. Initially Robyn will pick the stories and read. She is hoping that others will find stories to bring to the group. You can read yourself or you can have someone else read it.

If you know someone with an especially good voice, member or not, invite them to the group. If you know any retired disc jockeys, announcers or any actors that would be wonderful. Let Robyn Stuart know.

Next meeting will be Thursday June 12 at 7:00pm in the Parker room. Bring your own beverage of choice and a non messy snack if you want.
